I didn't unlock the 60 FPS limit for that laptop because it's only a 60Hz screen xD. It wouldn't help much to disable the V-Sync on the Nvidia Control Panel since it is only a 60Hz screen. I don't really change the default Nvidia settings for any of my laptops/desktops. Like how when I upgraded my gaming PC's monitor to a 240Hz monitor BDO automatically runs at 240 FPS max without changing any of the default Nvidia settings

i think youre only getting 60 fps because the screen is only 60hz, if you turned off V sync, or plugged in a higher refresh monitor, it would allow the GPU to stretch its legs a bit more

the notebook probably runs 60fps because its hertz is capping the bdo fps, which is normal, could prob run higher with higher monitor hertz

the 3rd gen intel is what causes all the stuttering. if you put a new CPU/mobo/ram and used the 1070 again, bdo would run super smooth

bro BDO is poorly optimized and better CPU will def improve the experience. I Upgraded my Ryzen1700+GTX1080 to Ryzen 5800X 3D+GTX1080 and my FPS are x3 (not lying) Before I had 80-120 with 0,1% lows under 60 Now 200-300 with 0,1% lows under 100 but much smoother and no stuttering BDO just needs very good CPU power (playing on high) for remastered I agree u will need a better GPU but Im sure even 1070 is fine for high settings

You could have the laptop hooked up to a monitor instead and get some type or dock or something for it. Also I have one of those laptops too and they get extremely hot and get slower over time due to lack of cooling I recommend getting a cooling pad or fans to put the laptop on top of when playing as it will keep temps lower and prevent thermal throttling

The Gigabyte Aero 16 is more of a creator laptop than a gaming laptop due to the 60Hz AMOLED screen. It's actually a very good screen for watching videos etc xD, but definitely not a good screen for gaming due to the 60Hz/60 FPS limit. I only bought it because of the low price & Genshin is locked at 60 FPS for PC anyway, at least for now -_-
